I'd prefer to postpone further discussion until after the HIToolbox
session on Thursday, when we'll be covering the changes in more
detail.
That's session 145 "See What's New in HIToolbox"?
I'm not at WWDC, but my fertile imagination says it'll go like this:
"What's new in HIToolbox? Well, nothing. It's dead. Now we'll open
the floor to questions."
OK, maybe an exaggeration. ;-)
More likely is that HIToolbox (and the other HI APIs) are getting a
name and framework change to move out from Carbon into a new home
(HIToolbox.framework?). After all, aren't most of the Cocoa APIs
implemented on the HIToolbox stuff now?
