All true. In fact, there are many things that Xcode does much better than CW ever did. Of course, the reverse is true too (e.g. CW always showed me all definitions on an option-double-click - Xcode seems to be a bit scatterbrained about which ones it will show on a command- double-click, half the time taking me to the declaration instead - arg). Apple just needs to release Xcode updates WAAAAY more often. I gets pretty tiring living with the same bugs for months on end.
