How many Carbon devs would use Cocoa if there were first-class bindings to the Cocoa APIs for C/C++/D? Is ObjC really the problem here?

If I had no choice, I might learn the Cocoa API and program it from C+ + or D. I'm not sure this is possible, but if I had to, I guess I would.

Thing is, I prefer the Carbon API, and I'd rather not learn yet another one. I also think it's faster, as others have mentioned. I think it's better, too, but not knowing the Cocoa API nearly as well, I can't say for sure. I believe the design to be newer than Cocoa's.
