It's more like I'm used to C++ with all it's power and multi-paradigm
programming. Starting to learn a new language with strange syntax

find powerful libraries like STL and Boost for ObjC.

Keep in mind that you can use Objective C together with C++ by using the ObjC++ compiler, so you don't need to stop using Boost or STL; you can continue to use them together with your ObjC code.

Well, it is not very much mix and match on Tiger if one wants to write CORRECT code and not some "usually working, broken on edge cases" mess as the two exception models are exceptionally inconvenient to combine.
