Hmmm... I see in the debugger that the NewUPP functions simply
return the
function address. So do we still need to (or should we) call all
those
NewUPP and DisposeUPP functions? Or can we just pass the function
addresses
now?
We had this discussion a little while back. The result was that it
would be impossible for Apple to go back to returning something other
than the function's actual address without breaking many existing
apps; they've all got compiled-in "NOOP" NewUPP calls.
