It's my understanding that CA must be hosted in an NSView.
The output is all going to the screen via a lower-level context, so is
obviously not dependent on any one view system, but getting that context
into a window requires an NSView.

I believe the solution is to place the NSView into an HINSView wrapper,
which hopefully won't have the same kind of restrictions/bugs that the
HIWebView wrapper does.
It's possible this will change prior to release, but my bug was closed
as "intended by design" so I suspect not.
