Moving to Cocoa

I'm going to start looking into what it will take to move our window/ control code from Carbon to Cocoa. It will not be fun. What I can't find is an example of how to load a window from a nib and run it as a modal dialog. There are plenty of examples of doing this for sheets or modal print dlogs, just not regular ol' app modal dlogs. Anybody know of an example or can provide one?

Also, are there any init routines I need to do from the Carbon app to be able to use Cocoa windows? We already have one Cocoa-based routine for using Cocoa cursors from Carbon. Also, until all windows are Cocoaized, there will be Carbon and Cocoa windows at the same time. I'm guessing I'll start with all the modal dlogs, then palettes, then modeless dlogs and doc windows.

Any guidance is very much appreciated. It's gonna be a long, bumpy road with frequent breakdowns.
