You'd do well to learn a bit about the subject before making blanket
statements like that!

This is not precisely true. Developer skill is far more important than
framework. Still, for a given developer and a given amount of time, a
"better" framework will support a better result.

According to *many* experienced PP developers who have made the switch,
including myself, this is simply not true. (By experienced, I mean started
with Developer Release 3 that first year, and stuck with it until the bitter
end.) My productivity gain PowerPlant->Cocoa was, I think, more significant
than the one Think Class Library->PowerPlant. PowerPlant was really good,
yet I don't miss it one bit.

Of course this *can* be done, but it adds a good deal of work. For any app
that actually needs 64-bit address space, it's a heck of a lot easier to
have all your tools working in the 64-bit space.
