We have purchased almost any educationally related software. Things
like: Accelerated Math, Rosetta Stone, several different software
packages for young children (can't remember the titles), art and music
software, supplemental software for Follett (library management
software), Kid Pix, Type to Learn, even Mac OS X licenses and more
titles that other schools ordered that I'm not familiar with.
I know that our IT department had some issues with the State of
Minnesota's administrators of the Microsoft settlement program, but in
the end it seemed that anything reasonable was approved. Based on our
experience you should check with the people responsible for
administering the program for your state.
