| This is how I handled supporting a mixed Intel/PPC environment: I partitioned my external FW into two small (15 GB) and one larger partition (the rest of the drive) One small partition has a PPC version of 10.4 on it, the other small partition has an Intel version of 10.4 on it and the large partition has my Net Restore software and disk images. When I boot a computer connected to the FW drive by holding down the Option key, the appropriate drive appears as a boot option. Hint: I made my Intel boot partition by taking a new Intel Mac, stripping out all the stuff I didn't need (Apps, etc) and then used NetRestore to clone it to my Intel partition. Works like a charm!
