Entourage database problems

For the last couple of days we have been having problems with Entourage
telling users that their database has a problem and needs to be rebuilt.  If
they try and rebuild it gives an error.  I have found that if they move the
4 files out of their identity folder and then copy them back in, everything
is ok for a while then it happens all over again.  These users are 10.3.9 or
10.4.x clients with MS Office 2004.  The users are using network home
directories.  They are not getting disconnected from the server when this
happens and I can't find anything in any server logs that would indicate an
issue.  When it happens it seems to happen network wide.

Any help would be appreciated.
