Re: remotely accesing servers

I use ARD to access the server as if I'm sitting right at it.  It also has support for drag and drop file transfers, and many other cool things.  If you already use it in your lab, you should be familiar with how to set it up, it's exactly the same on the server.

My question is this:  what is the simplest way to remotely connect to
my servers.  I know and do connect via WGM remotely, but there are
definitely times I need to drag and drop a file into a teachers folder
on the OSX (10.3) server.  I probably end up doing this several times
a week and don't have access to do this when logged in remotely under
the admin account on the server.  Also, I like to check that
Retrospect backed up properly- it's on a different server.  Are people
using ARD to connect to servers and have full access?  I do have that
and use it in my labs.  Is there some other way I'm missing or just
haven't needed to learn that is simple?

You could use SSH for file-transfers. Fugu [1] is a nice GUI for it.
