I called the Apple free tech support and received 2 different answers. One said it would the other said no. Everything seems to work from 10.5 cd and machines I image with 10.5 on them. I made an image on a 10.4 server, then moved the image into the libray/netboot/netbootsp0 folder OSX10.5 server netbooted to an iBookG4 what happened, it netbooted I selected the image I wanted, rebooted let it install. That took about 3 seconds then it rebooted like it was suppose to. Next I saw the name change but could not login so I target mode to drive to see what was on it, was the old information. Is it not possible to image 2 different levels of OS? Thank you The 10.5 SIU can only make 10.5 netboot sets. The 10.5 Netboot server can host 10.4 sets you make on 10.4. Josh |
