Just to be negative, I hate Help Viewer, and I also hate having to dig
around to find the html files so I can view them in Safari... It is the
current Apple-sanctioned thing, but I would rather remove gum from my hair
than use it.


My main issue with it is that it only supports a single window, so there's
no comparing info on two different pages.


I guess everyone else is holding their breath waiting for Apple to improve
it.

The day before yesterday, I would have agreed with you entirely but the wait is over and you can breathe again; version 3.0 that comes with Tiger is a VAST improvement in every way. In particular, it is MUCH faster and it supports multiple windows. I actually like it.
