Hi List,
I've been working on an app for a while now, and had no real problems
to speak of.
However yesterday I installed the Mac OS X 10.4.7 software update.
Now, if I hit 'Build and Debug' (Command+Y) the app start and runs no
problem at all.
If I hit 'Build and Go' (Command + R) then the app crashes at startup
with EXC_BAD_ACCESS.
The call stack looks like this.....
0 objc_msgSend_rtp
1 -[NSNibControlConnector EstablishConnector]
2 -[NSIBObjectData nibInstantiateWithOwner:topLevelObject:]
3 loadnib
The weird thing is that to fix this I have to go into IB, nudge some
of the controls around (like simply move them a pixel left or right),
save, quit IB, then build and run and everything is OK again, until
the next time I change something in IB.
My app is very simple and has only 1 window, with 1 push button and
1 custom view control.
Can anyone help? Has anyone else seen this type of behaviour?
(Especially since installing 10.4.7) ?
