OK, so NSImage is also bridged to an DCRaw based importer..
and I read that since Tiger, NEF was a supported image type. No
mention of it only being
half-arsed support.
Hint: Read the OS X upgrade release notes.
One of the last few OS updates added finally support for Maxxum /
Dynax D5D images. D5D production started about one year ago and was
cancelled some months ago. And the format for the associated file
extension, ".MRW", is handled by OS X quite some time now..
