I forgot to mention that i do know there used to be a connection
number limit set to 4. But i was under the impression that this had
been replaced (with something different) in Tiger, which is what
i'm using (universal SDK, of course).
I have found that this limited only by the maximum number of unix
processes per user; I believe the default setting is 512. Read about
"ulimit". There's something weird going on if you're only getting 4.
