Max processes? That's a little weird because NSURLConnection doesn't
spawn processes. Maybe you're running up against another limit which
is capped at 512 (e.g. open sockets or something)?

I have found that this limited only by the maximum number of unix
processes per user; I believe the default setting is 512. Read
about "ulimit". There's something weird going on if you're only
getting 4.
