I'm also using another framework in there, which I suspect might be
the culprit, however (because MallocDebug reports just 56 bytes
leaked)...but thanks for any insight you can provide.

Now -- I don't have a huge amount of time on my hands. Cats don't

So, which files do the locking stuff and/or are the source of the leaks?
