Re: nodesForXPath and namespace issue

Excellent idea! (posting to cocoa-dev list in case this helps someone else)

Hi,

I found another way: http://www.stylusstudio.com/xsllist/200312/ post90970.html
The stylesheet removes the xmlns attribute and therefore frees the way to xquery it like i wanted to.

Thanks

Hi,

I followed the guide on XML parsing here:
file:///Developer/ADC%20Reference%20Library/documentation/Cocoa/ Conceptual/XMLParsing/index.html

It turned out to be a little tedious, having to check for each element I was interested in in one delegate method, saving the information and then processing it in another (parser:didEndElement:...), but it turned out ok.

I haven't reported it as a bug, but I might just do so, see what Apple says.

Good Luck.

Hi Ryan,

I'm having the exactly same problem about namespaces in cocoa as you experienced couple of months ago. So I was wondering if you came up with a solution considering this http://lists.apple.com/ archives/cocoa-dev/2007/Jan/msg00329.html issue.

Thanks in advance & sorry for bothering you
