I have a client with an old Printer. An Encad NovaJet 700 42".
The client recently upgraded to Mac OS X and the Fiery x2-w that
shipped with the printer doesn't interpret the PS fills correctly.
I have tried all the suggested GIMP drivers but they do not solve the
problem.
I tried X-RIP but the Fiery does not have ports 9100 + open.
The client is budget conscious and would like to continue using this
printer.
What solutions have you guys used that would work in this environment?
Checked BESTColor and their supported printer list does not include the
Encad 700.
ColorBurst RIP replied that they do not support the Encad 700.
Shiraz replied that they do offer support for the Encad 700 but I have
not installed or supported that RIP.
Any help would be appreciated.
