Yes, I can see that, but color management irritates many people too. If it had been left up to the will of the majority to introduce it into Photoshop, we probably wouldn't have it yet.

Photoshop has to make up its mind, so to speak, whether it wants to be a professional tool foremost, or instead a crowd-pleaser for users who are not interested in its more powerful features.

Don't they already have Photoshop Elements for that class of users anyway?
