It's not necessarily still 1 deltaE.

If I recall correctly, CIEDE2000 is scaled differently from CIE94 and CIELAB
deltaE which results in lower numbers for the same color differences.
Further, I believe that the 1 deltaE JND is usually used for chromatic
colors. As chroma increases, the JND increases beyond 1. Similarly, as you
approach the achromatic axis, the JND decreases to about 0.5. I think that
this number was derived using the original deltaE, so it's probably even
less than 0.5 JND with CIEDE2000.

Although a good rule-of-thumb is that a JND is approximately 1 deltaE, it's
not always the case and it will differ slightly with the different formulae.
