Just got my hands on an production iSis (previous experience was
with an
early beta build). I’m wondering what the consensus is for doing a
dual
measurement (UV and NonUV) for the slew of fine art papers. Its
half the
speed which isn’t a big deal. Does this bring anything to the
party? Since
the LED has no UV component, the normal reading is like the UV cut
on an
EyeOne. The default in ProfileMaker Pro appears to be set to “No”
and I
think I’m getting two measurements per row. Worthwhile?
So there are "switchable" UV LED'S for use as desired?
"It can measure both UV-Cut and No-Filter on 1,500 patches in eight
minutes Its three times faster than an iCColor and 6 times faster
than a DTP-41."
So for $4,600 - about the cost of my DTP-41 when adjusted for
inflation over the past 9 years - I can cut my profiling time that much?
Is PMP the only app currently iSis-aware?
