Re: X-Rite iSis and dual measurements

I got an iSis XL some months ago, a production unit.

I ran my prelim tests and validated it as good enough for my inkjet
clients, usinfg Colorport to drive the device, and Monaco Profiler to
generate the profiles. As inkjet is all I do, that is good enough for
me.

The one thing one needs to know about the iSis is that it is fragile,
if it gets bumped enough that the head clips disengage then even if
you reset the clips the unit is permanently disaligned and will make
profiles that are slighly off. This device should not be transported.

I wonder whether printers with EyeOne embedded will eventually have
exactly the same heads as the iSis ?
