Facing the machine from the front, the lever is clearly to the right side.

So, in other words the device IS filtering out the UV light. So "excluded"
refers to the UV light, NOT the filter itself?

 

UVexcluded refers to the measurement data that is saved with the filter in
that position. I prefer to use UVexcluded for nearly all measurement data,
especially when using MP's 2-step profiling with linearization feature. So
you've been doing it right! Of course, opinions will vary about this and
hopefully we won't dive into another UV vs no-UV debate here...
