Re: Leopard and Xrite dongles don't work?

I used both dongles last night (GMB Measure Tool and Monaco PROFILER) and it didn't seem to be a problem, even through a tiny USB hub that I have.

I'm also running a MacBook Pro (15"). One possible difference is that I did a simple "Upgrade" install of Leopard instead of an "Archive and Install" installation.

One thing I did before I started the install was boot from the Leopard DVD and run Disk Utility. I first ran Disk Repair (twice) until it gave me a clean bill of health and then ran Repair Permissions until it was clean also. Don't know if that helped but it did make *ME* feel better!

You tried both USB ports? For some reason, I get some general flakiness through the USB port next to the power supply connection but not on the USB port on the other side. Go figure.

Terry Wyse

Does anyone have problems recognizing Monaco Profiler and Gretag ProfileMaker dongles under Leopard?

I installed Leopard on external drive to test it and My MacBookPro doesn't recognize either dongle (no light).
