Hi Graeme,

Thanks for the note here.
Im a bit shocked to hear and now read this. i assumed due to the color shift ive seen on the 2690s that it too was a PVA.
Ive not seen an IPS panel with shifts like that in quite some time at that price point.
Maybe it has more to do with the front surface membrane ?



According to NEC, they are both IPS panels. See:
