As i tried both software packages, I must say that I agree with Karl.
At least when I tried it with the large gamut monitor Nec SpectraView
Reference the results I've got with the European program was an
improvement compared to the American program that I tested first.
Especially the grey balance was improved.

comes bundled (plus a hood, btw) with SpectraView monitors in
Europe ;-)
