At Colour Confidence the NEC SpectraView 2690 is EUR 1779 (excl. VAT and
WITHOUT a colorimeter), the Eizo ColorEdge CG241 is EUR 1699.
The MultiSync LCD2690WUXi (NON-SpectraView) is much cheaper and does EUR
1000 (about the same price as A$1700 in Australia).
I've read you can easily turn the MultiSync LCD2690WUXi into a SpectraView.
For the price difference of approximately EUR 780, one must be able to buy
a colorimeter + hood + software.
As Andrew already pointed out, there is of course the issue of panels
used, as the best ones are reserved for the SpectraViews.
