How deep are the blacks on the NEC 2690, by the way? Do they compare

Dear Marco

This is an interesting thread, however I am interested in moving to LED screens. With this in mind I'm interested in hearing any comments about how the Samsung LED screen stacks up. It is surprisingly cheap but I understand the performance is similar to that of the much higher priced NEC LED monitor.
