Thanks, but a few days ago I noticed that this won't work on Tiger. Neither the hosts I tried (Wave Editor, GB) will let you change the position of the slider from 0. You have to use kAudioUnitParameterFlag_DisplaySquareRoot instead, this and all other 4 or 5 flags added in AU spec for Tiger work well.
