Re: valgrind for Darwin or equivalent?

I think Valgrind is heavily dependent on the Linux kernel...

From the Valgrind manual:

"Valgrind is a flexible system for debugging and profiling Linux-x86 executables. The system consists of a core, which provides a synthetic x86 CPU in software, and a series of tools, each of which performs some kind of debugging, profiling, or similar task."

So I think that's probably a dead-end.

Perhaps there is a similar tool out there that somebody else on the list can point you to.

That said, Valgrind is awesome when debugging Linux executables. 8-)

a ppclinux version. Is there a port available for Darwin for valgrind? If not
is there an equivalent tool for Apple that can be used from the command line?
Thanks in advance for any information.
