In my opinion the screen(1) program would be worth a first try. You
can install it via fink.
Ahh, but that just captures the text.
As I suspected, there's no easy way to grab the pixels of the text
console.
Drat!
Its a bit round-a-bout, but you could always run Mac OS X under MOL
on Linux, then take screen shots as normal and get what you want with
some minor editing.
