Re: Complex dynamic loading



To be more specific: In releases previous, dyld provided a specialized interface for doing this (dyld_NSAddImage() and friends) and if you wanted to use the more common "UNIX dlopen() API" then you used Peter O'Gorman's dlcompat library, which we also bundled with the system in Panther. In Tiger, dyld was substantially rewritten and the dlopen() APIs became "native" - no translation layer, no dlcompat(), and in fact dyld_NSAddImage() is now deprecated in favor of dlopen().
