I want to write an application which provides a "virtual volume" to
mac os x.
This virtual volume should show up in finder like toast or dmg images
and show up in /Volumes/
the application "says" what the contents of this device are.
this virtual device should be read / write.
if the application quits, the device is removed.
is this somehow possible?
i plan to write this application in cocoa.
if someone has sample code or documentation about this subject, i
would be happy :-)
