It's easy to get the frontmost application using the Carbon API
GetFrontProcess.
What the recommended way for my application to get a notification
when this front process is changed, without having to constantly
check the value returned by GetFrontProcess?
If your app can link against Carbon.framework, we recommend the
kEventAppFrontSwitched Carbon event.
