Compile/Install/Launch DSS

Hi!
I am working with the DSS source code to modify a part and to test, my problem is that I do not manage to compile and to install the source code. First I launch ./Buildit and later ./Install in the messages says that does not find several thing. Already I managed to install DSS with DarwinStreamingSrvr5.5-Linux.tar.tar but I need install with source code. I am new in this, I´m sorry for my poor english!

Darwin Streaming Server Setup

In order to administer the Darwin Streaming Server you must create an administra tor user [Note: The administrator user name cannot contain spaces, or single or double quote characters, and cannot be more than 255 characters long].

Please enter a new administrator user name: marta

 

You must also enter a password for the administrator user [Note: The administrator password cannot contain spaces, or quotes, either single or double, and cannot be more than 80 characters long].

Re-enter the new administrator password:
