Re: Apple Libtool

Hello,

Seems libtool has turned me into a tool.

I went and installed GNU's libtool on my system not realizing that
Apple libtool != GNU libtool.

As you might imagine this has left my build enviornment in a very
inconsistent state.

My question is, where can I quickly obtain either the sources (for
rebuild) or the PPC binaries for the libtool that's included in Darwin
8.6.0

Thanks

An older version of GNU libtool is actually already installed on Mac OS X.
It is installed with the prefix 'g' glibtool, glibtoolize.
GNU libtool is by default installed in /usr/local , so it will by default not overwrite Apple libtool
when installed. Simply remove the copy in /usr/local,
and reconfigure to install with the prefix g.
