I made some improvements to Darwin. Where do I submit the code to Apple?

There is no official, direct channel to do so.

While this is true, I think it's also fair to say that there are definitely "unofficial direct channels" where code improvements (or even bugs reports that aren't getting traction on bugreporter) are concerned. There are numerous Apple people on this list, myself included, who are more than willing to directly engage with people like Matt when the circumstances merit it (and time permits). I'd say that improvements to Darwin definitely fall into the category of "merit", though it would be nice to know what KIND of improvements have been made so that the appropriate Apple people can engage in on/ offline discussion. Kernel improvements would go to one group (or "unofficial direct channel" person), specific types of user land improvements to other people, and so on.
