I am attempting to install sendmail 8.13.7 on MacOS 10.4.6 (Darwin 8.6).
I have looked at the FAQ at sendmail.org but did not see anything
regarding my problem.
The build process almost works. The build generates:

/usr/share/sendmail/obj.Darwin.8.6.0.PowerMacintosh/libsm/libsm.a
/usr/bin/ld: Undefined symbols:
_kdb2_dbopen
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [sendmail] Error 1
Because of the undefined symbol, the executable is _not_ made.
The same undefined symbol is reported for all of the other sendmail executables (editmap,
makemap, vacation, etc.)
My only guess is to search the archive file (.a) one more time. However, I am unable
to locate the .a file that defines _kdb2_dbopen.
Any and all suggestions will be appreciated!
