Understood. I did look for a better list. There doesn’t seem to be a list for the middle tiers of the OS. I decided the Cocoa and Carbon lists were the best alternatives but not as good as this one. Suggestions more than welcome.

Despite being in Darwin, CoreFoundation is still actively maintained by the Mac OS X side of the company. You'll have much better luck getting your CF questions answered on a more Mac OS X specific (i.e. not Darwin) mailing list.
