Not Bootable from CD??

Hi, All--

I have just received two ASP reports from Charles Srstka the creator of
BootCD, who reports to me that there is a problem booting particular systems
from the Emergency CD's created by BootCD. (I'm working on a similar
project, and he's been kind enough to be giving me some insights into doing
this).

The two machines concerned cannot boot from his app's created Emergency
CD's. All his Emergency CD's use exactly the same file list, with the files
copied over from the startup disk from which the BootCD process is run.

Here's what he says:

"The one who sent Apple_System_Profiler1.rtf file is having a hang at
the blue screen before the SystemStarter window is able to show up. The
other user is having a boot script crash so that he gets dumped to the shell
and the text prompt."

I was wondering if any of you know if there are system files that he doesn't
know about that are needed to boot these particular systems, or files he has
included that should not have been.

I have posted both the file list used for BootCD and the two ASP reports,
which also include the crash logs, at my site:

Thanks for any help you can give!

All My Best,
Jeffrey
