It's been working fine for me on darwin-x86 for the last 18 months... I have moved disks from my PPC Mac to my x86 box and didn't encounter any corrupted files. This was under OpenDarwin 7.2.1 which corresponds to OSX 10.3.2.

I haven't banged on it real hard so there may be some latent bugs yet to be flushed out.
