USB Printer error

Hi, all,

I keep getting this error sequence:

Feb 2 14:29:25 grinch mach_kernel: IOUSBInterface::open failing, err = 00000000
Feb 2 14:30:59 grinch mach_kernel: IOUSBInterface::handleOpen failing because super::handleOpen falied
Feb 2 14:30:59 grinch mach_kernel: IOUSBInterface::open failing, err = 00000000

when trying to print. The symptom seems to appear sometime after a re-boot. I can print with no problems for a while, and then this shows up. The Print Center complains for each print job, and retrying then works.

This is 10.1.1, on a G4/450Mhz/AGP, with an Epson 890 printer, using the driver package on Epson's website, from 10/01.

Thoughts?
