Redirecting PPP Data

We've written a network driver for a USB ADSL modem. The device exposes
itself to the OS as an ethernet device, then internally does the
required ATM stuff. We need to implement PPP over ATM support. Is there
a simple way to redirect PPP packets so they go to our network driver?
(Obviously, they wouldn't be ethernet packets, but the driver will be
configured to expect ONLY PPP data.) Would I have to write a pseudo-TTY
driver or something like that? If so, are there any examples available?

Thanks,
-Chris
