Dear All,
I would like to know the Link Aggregation Implementation details in Mac
OS X 10.4.4. Please let me know the algorithms used for Link Aggregation Is
it round robin or TCP,DA/SA etc.. How much percentage of speed will get
improve if I send a single file [ 2 GB] through a Link aggregated port
which contains 2 Ethernet Links [ 1 Gbps each] .
If I send two separate files simultaneously through the above mentioned
scenario how much percentage speed will get improve.
Machine Specification
Apple Machine [ Power Mac G5- MAC OS X 10.4.4] contains two gigabit
NIC's
Thanks & Regards
Anees

This is a self-help list :-}
I don't know that the details you want are specifically documented, but:
- try searching on Apple's developer website (<http://
developer.apple.com>)
- check the kernel source (xnu) for the implementation details.
See the darwin
website (<http://developer.apple.com/darwin>).
