Hi,
I'm trying to update the cache on an external hard drive (under Tiger).
But if I do this:
$ export TMPDIR=/Volumes/harddrive/private/var/tmp
$ sudo kextcache -L -N -S -K /Volumes/harddrive/mach_kernel -m /
Volumes/harddrive/System/Library/Extensions.mkext /Volumes/harddrive/
System/Library/Extensions
I've the following error:
archive would be too large; aborting.
and then if I try to boot on this volume, the system cannot create
the RAM disks...
How do I proceed?
Thanks for your help.
