Thanks in advance for the help. (I don't know if I'm
posting to the right group. Can someone help me to
find the right group?)
The file libSystem.B.dylib throws the error that
follows:
dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib
Reason: no suitable image found. Did find:
/usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib: not a dylib
/usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib: not a dylib
Trace/BPT trap
The version number is:
% otool -Lv ewing
....
/usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib (compatibility version
1.0.0, current version 88.3.9)
time stamp 1183402007 Mon Jul 2 14:46:47 2007
The list was changed on 2 Jul 2007:
% ls -l /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib
-r-xr-xr-x 1 root wheel 8000260 Jul 2 14:47
/usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib
I would like to revert to a fully functional
libSystem.B.dylib. Can I revert to my Apple Install
CD image version *on this file alone*? I know I did
not get similar errors in the past... before July 2.
How do I revert back to a previous version of the
file?
Can I pin the version so that it does NOT upgrade to a
faulty version?
