Re: Darwin-x86 Digest, Vol 2, Issue 28

Hmmm - I had a feeling that the 7.x family seemed to be a little more 'mature' on the driver support area. Unfortunately, I'm really interested in some of the additional features that were added in 8 with the weblogging port of blojsom integrated into the Open Directory authentication structure.

If you do get 8 running in a virtual environment, please let me know!

Cheers,

Erik

Just as a side note ... I just got OpenDarwin v7.0.1 working in Virtual PC
2004 ... I'm working on moving the driver to v7.2.1 tonight. We'll see how
far I get.

I too found the kernel panic on booting Darwin v8.0.1 ... I'm not through
yet ... I might see what I can figure out. The OpenDarwin stuff is much
further along for general use ...
